In the Mason Room of the Library, Dot Mason organized the archives of the Historical Society, a fact revealing the importance of the Mason family in the borough. The house can still be found at 1377 Springfield Avenue. Its trefoil window, ornate porch cornices, and double front door with small-paned windows give it an air of elegance.
