No. 46 Murray Hill Square

The inspiration house was located on Springfield Avenue in Berkeley Heights and was torn down about 30 years ago. A member of the prominent Crane family, Betsey Crane Day lived from 1775 to 1828. A copy of her diary, written in 1824 is in the office of the Historical Society in the New Providence library.
